Who We Are

Mission & Core Values

"Making disciples of Jesus Christ who love God, love people, and impact the world!"

Bible-Based Teaching

  • A disciple is a student and follower of the teaching of another.
  • God Divinely inspired and preserved His word so that we might learn His love for us and His instruction to us.
  • Our passion is to encourage and equip families which begins with the discipleship of men, women, singles, college, youth, kids and preschool.
  • We investigate life issues that are culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure in Biblical theology.
  • "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." - 2 Timothy 3:16-17

"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

    - Matthew 28:19-20

    We LOVE GOD through:

    Spirit-Led Worship

  • Worship begins with each individual personally and passionately praising God.
  • Corporate worship is a time of celebration as we come together and praise God as one body.
  • We also experience worship through preaching and teaching God's Word.
  • Celebrating baptism and communion present an opportunity for the church to worship God through receiving, remembering, responding and rejoicing in the work of our great King.
  • As a part of worship, we welcome God and invite His Holy Spirit to do whatever He wants, however He wants, whenever He wants.
  • "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." - John 4:24

"I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonders. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High." - Psalm 9:1-2

    Faith-Filled Prayer

  • We are passionate about individual and corporate prayer as we trust the Lord for guidance, revelation, comfort, faith, and healing.
  • “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” - Ephesians 6:18

“Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” - James 5:16

“Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”

    - 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

    God-Generated Giving

  • The Bible teaches that our standard baseline for giving is the tithe - contributing 10% of our income to the church.
  • Biblical tithing acknowledges that God owns everything, and allows us to keep 90% of what He gives us.
  • Tithing is the one thing in which God encourages us to test Him.
  • Tithing is not only a heart issue, but also of faith and trust in God.
  • "The earth and everything in it, the world and its inhabitants, belong to the Lord." - Psalm 24:1

"Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! You ask, 'How do we rob You?' By not making the payments of the tenth and the contributions. You are suffering under a curse, yet you - the whole nation - are still robbing Me. Bring the full tenth into the storehouse so that there may be food in My house. 'Test me in this way,' says the Lord of Hosts. 'See if I will not open floodgates of heaven and pour out a blessing for you without measure." - Malachi 3:8-10

"But woe to you Pharisees! You give a tenth of mint, rue and every kind of herb, and you bypass justice and love for God. These things you should have done without neglecting the others." - Luke 11:42

" But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver." - 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

    We LOVE PEOPLE through:

    Grace-Centered Community

  • Grace is the essence of the Gospel through the redemption of Christ on the cross.
  • We experience community through small groups and Bible study, developing personal relationships that move us past mere attendance and casual involvement.
  • Community is a safe place to share your struggles, receive support, be encouraged, and do life together.
  • We value all people by seeing them through “spiritual eyes” and loving them as demonstrated by Jesus Christ.
  • “They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” - Acts 2:42-43

“Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” - Galatians 6:1-2

“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” - Proverbs 27:17

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another." - John 13:34-35

"But the LORD said to Samuel," Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:7

    We IMPACT THE WORLD through:

    Mission-Minded Service

  • Once we experience and receive the saving grace of Jesus, it is our pleasure and purpose to share this with others.
  • Missional living involves local, daily interaction with family, friends, neighbors and coworkers as well as global interaction throughout the world via short or long-term mission trips.
  • It is our desire from the overflow of our hearts to join God in what He is already doing in our community and the world.
  • “My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign LORD; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.” - Psalm 71:15-16

“One generation will commend your works to another; they will tell of your mighty acts.” - Psalm 145:4

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
